Hand-woven Designs

     This roomy pullover style was once the traditional garb for cheese maker's in Roquefort, France and a very comfortable shirt for daily wear.  Sized for men and women with smock features, shoulder yoke, simple narrow buttoned neckband and underarm gussets.  The buttons on the Cheesemaker's Shirts are 'one of a kind' and made of clay by a local Pennsylvania craftsperson.  The shirt is hand-woven with cotton or cotton blend yarns in Women's S, M, L (women's XL is the Men's S) and Men's S, M, L.  Currently available in: natural cotton with blue & tan flecks, a red tonal cotton and a blue tonal cotton.  Contact us for fabric samples.  Fabric is washed prior to sewing which will limit the amount for further shrinkage.  Shirt should be hand washed in cool water with a mild detergent and line dried on a padded hanger.
